Yin - What is the purpose of Education

Ontology - what we know to be based on facts that are believed to be fact

Epistemology - what we know and how we pass it on - study of knowledge true belief and justifies

• True knowledge is primarily founded on input from our senses
• Rationalism emphasizes reason other than experience as the primary basis for justifying beliefs and claims
• Formal epistomology -  the study of questions such as what is knowledge
• Genetic epistemology is used to study the cognitive development among children and how children understand and learn and acquire new knowledge.
• Social epistomology - social context for creating new knowledge

Axiology - what we value, what we believe to be right or wrong

Purpose of Education
